Mrs. Wenndy Pray graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American with a double major in English and Spanish and has been an educator since 2008. She has taught English Language Arts in all middle school grades and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2012. She has also taught English Language Arts in various capacities at the high school level. She became a librarian in 2016 and received a graduate degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University a year later.

Mrs. Pray is a servant leader. Supporting and coaching efforts form the foundation of her leadership philosophy. Her role as a leader is best fulfilled by empowering, equipping, and supporting the community she serves. Relationship building is a valuable component of providing quality service through leadership. A stable, dynamic, and collaborative environment are components she prioritizes to cultivate the ideals to serve and foster professional, literacy-driven partnerships. 

Mrs. Pray is proud to be a member of the vast community of educators and librarians. She is excited to collaborate, encourage, and serve as a resource to students, faculty, and the community. She strongly believes that personal connections to any content or discipline strengthen the learning experience, and her goal is to find these connections and facilitate growth. She encourages readers with the ever-present mentality that they are today's citizens and an integral part of our world.
